Before any video credit is spent, ViralGen generates a still (your creator placed into the hook frame of the viral structure you picked) and holds it on the Image Review page for your approval. This is the cheap checkpoint: you catch a bad composition here, for 3 credits, instead of after paying for a video.
Qwen Edit composes the still
The image engine (Qwen Edit, run through WaveSpeed) places your selected creator into an on brand still that mirrors the source post's framing, and locks the face so the identity is consistent. Each image costs 3 credits and typically lands on Image Review within about 30 seconds.
Image Review
Approved posts appear on the Image Review page as they finish. Approve the ones you want, reject the rest, or send an item back to regenerate a fresh still. Only approved images become eligible for video generation.
Custom uploads
You are not limited to generated stills. Upload your own image for a queued item and the pipeline treats it as the approved frame, useful when you already have the exact shot you want to animate.
Why the checkpoint exists
Video is the expensive stage. Gating it behind a still keeps your credit spend efficient: you only pay 6 credits/second on frames you have already confirmed look right.
