Viral content discovery
Discovery picks the next reel structure to replicate. We score posts the same way TikTok ranks them — engagement relative to reach — so the queue surfaces structures with a real shot at virality rather than posts with absolute view counts driven by an already-large audience.
How we score
Virality = views ÷ followers, clamped at 25× to avoid black-swan outliers (a 1M-view post from a 10K account would otherwise dominate every queue). Anything with virality ≥ 5× passes the recommendation threshold. Below that the post is still saved for downstream filters but is never auto-recommended.
What sources we scrape
Two modes. Accounts mode walks your linked inspiration accounts (one Apify or HikerAPI request per account, chunked across multiple invocations so any number of accounts finishes in one click). Trends mode pulls from a seed pool of high-velocity accounts in your niche.
What we filter out
Posts with no playable video, duplicates of items already in the pool, accounts flagged by the safety check, and anything older than your selected timeframe.
How long a run takes
Manual runs finish in 1–3 minutes for the typical 5-account workload. A discovery cron runs every 6 hours and refreshes the trends pool automatically.
What took a week now takes a few minutes.
Finding the reel, making it, cleaning it, scheduling it. That used to be days of work across four tools and few employees. Now you open the app, approve, and a month of content delivers itself. In few minutes.
